How to establish new water, sewer, and sanitation services:

An application for utility service must be completed and signed. A valid picture identification card is required.

Option 1:

For residential service a $100 deposit in cash, check or money order. Out of state checks and drivers licenses are accepted. Commercial service requires a $130.00 deposit.

Option 2:

In lieu of the deposit, you may bring a letter of credit from a utility company stating on their letterhead you had services with them for at least 12 months with no late fees.

Option 3:

You may have a co-signer on your account. The co-signer would be someone who currently has services with us for at least 12 months with no late fees. The Co-signer would no longer be responsible after 12 months of good pay, and no late fees.

A Certificate of Occupancy inspection is required on all pre-existing homes before occupying. The fee is $20.00 per inspection. If the home does not pass the inital inspection, an additional fee will be charged for any additional inspections.

Transferring Services:

In order to transfer service from one residence to another in Pilot Point, a new certification of occupancy inspection will be required on all pre-existing homes. Deposit balance will be transferred to current location.

A connection fee of $40.00 will be added to the first billing statement

2. Your Utility Account Number and amount due. Call the utility department if you don't have your current bill available.

  1. 12 months with good pay
  2. Any account that is final bill will have the deposit applied to any outstanding balance. Any remaining deposit will then be returned to the customer.
